LICENSING AND INSURANCE

In California, persons performing contracting work of $500 or more are required to hold a contractor’s license issued by the Contractors State Licensing Board for the type of work being performed.

Unlicensed contractors can expose you to property damage and financial harm, as well as personal liability, should someone get injured while performing work on your behalf. The Contractors State Licensing Board’s web site, www.cslb.ca.gov, allows you to check on a contractor’s licensing status, specifically if the contractor is properly bonded and insured, and if any legal action has been taken against the licenses.

Fidelity Roof Company has been a licensed contractor in the state of California since its inception in 1948, and its low Contractor License number 156017 is a testament to its longevity.
